Battery gas activates propane detector
I've got a little demo going on in my rig.
The batts are charging on the floor (no battery boxes) about 86 1/2 inches from the propane monitor.
With the trailer closed up after about a hour the monitor starts squealing, open the door and it stops in about 2 seconds.
Now I'm not trying to kill myself and if hydrogen rises and propane sinks and they meet in the middle -- what kind of "reaction" will occur ?
I'm thinking that "if' the propane monitor also detects battery gas (hydrogen) that's a good thing. too bad they didn't have some similar system on the Hindenberg.
