Battery dies after 2 days of sitting

I can't figure out what is causing the starter battery to die after two days of sitting. I have a 1979 Excella Motorhome. Something must be pulling energy while it sits because I just put a brand new alternator in it.

Could be a bad battery or could be something causing parasitic current draw. A simple check with a digital volt meter can tell you if current is being drawn from the battery while the vehicle is sitting. If that is the case, you will have to check each circuit one at a time (pull the fuse) and see if the current draw stops. That will narrow down the cause. Good luck.
