Battery box modification

Anyone have any ideas on the best way to modify the lid on the battery box so it will stay open while working on the batteries ? Looking for some ideas on how everyone has solved this problem,,,Im thinking about adding a couple magnets so when you open it, it will stay open, or maybe a small spring loaded rod, that can be propped between the lid and the trailer

Anyother ideas?

Battery box helper

I had the same problem. I use those clear suction cup thing with a hook on it and just use a small piece of cord tied together. Cheap n easy.

I just use a small bungee hooking one end to the latch and the other end to the top of the propane cover.
