We tent camped comfortably for years with an ice chest, five gallons of water, DCell battery AM/FM radio, provisions in the back of the pickup and two flash lights. Never had an issue.

Now with a 25 foot International... Spending hundreds to thousands of dollars in taxes, plates, insurance and maintenance, so we can listen to the radio and have several LED lights over a table at night.

The tent and sleeping bags are rolled up in the closet. Cost is zero to store. Trailer camping may be a bit too rough for us.

Ray- tell your wife your going to save some money next trip, and brake out the tent and sleeping bags....see what she says... I know my wife would likely kick me out and advertise on the Forum for someone who would like to join her in my 28' What little time we have left....want it to be in a more comfortable environment; damn the costs!
