I admire the "silver budget methodology" and I agree that my system was obtained for a price. The next generation performs better. ( my son on his GT )

Exactly, since the trailer power cord can only be plugged into one things at a time ... either an full-hookup site outlet, or into the outlet on the outside of our Airstream, which is powered by the inverter.

It's simple, but does require an exterior outlet. I put mine in our battery compartment door (which I made since the OEM unit had apparently been run over multiple times). The outlet is the standard one everyone gets from Home Despot and strips and buffs out.

Well we took our 23 FB for trade this past week , and factory ordered a International Sig. 27FB (arrival 1 wk in May) . Order includes inveter , deleted the front skylite , and will add an after market Solar system similar to, (see link) , one panel to begin.

Congratulations on your new trailer. Did they charge you extra to not put in the skylight (they have in the past).
