Adding new wire from Battery box

Has any one added a new hole from battery box into there trailers to run new battery cable to come straight off the battery to there inverters. Present cable hole isn't large enough for this.
I thought about drilling new hole beside original entry point and feeding new cable through a piece of pma tube and resealing this tube with chalking.
I like the thought of feeding inverter right from the batteries with #2 cable.
Ant thoughts.

Thanks George

All I can tell you is that on our 2014 with factory inverter, the hole in the battery box is on the left( facing trailer) for the inverter cable, but it goes up through the same entry hole as the battery cables in our 25ft FB.

Sounds like a good plan. That's pretty much what I did. Drilled a hole and ran a short run of liquid tight conduit through the hole for abrasion resistance then pumped a bunch of silicon seal into the cavity after pulling the wires to make it watertight.
