Accessing Shore Power Plug on '06 Safari

I have an '06 Safari 25' FB and due to stupidity on my part, the shore power plug has been fried. My question is how to access the inside wiring to replace it. At first glance, dropping a corner of the belly pan might get the job done. Removing the corner plastic housing looks like more trouble than I want to tackle.

Any thoughts, hints or ideas?

Why bother with the cable?

You can replace just the plug.

The male plug on the trailer needs to be replaced. No problem replacing the power cord female plug

On our 2004, I believe that the connector that you are talking about is above the floorboard and may not be accessible from the belly. Of course you unit is different than mine. IIRC, my outside connector is screwed into the body. I would assume if yours is similar, you could simply unscrew it, remove it and install a new one?

First off, the male shore plug on the trailer is fried. It's below the floor and inaccessable from inside the trailer. There is not enough wire sticking through after the actual plug is removed from the plastic housing. I have a new plug/plastic housing and I need to install longer wires to attach to thew male plug in the plug.

As I said, my unit is different than yours, but it sounds to me like you have it under control. Sorry for the post.....
