'78 Argosy converter upgrade

I've read though several discussions on converter upgrades/swaps, but none of them address the issue I've got. I pulled out the old Univolt, which has 3 wires coming out it, going to a fuse panel. The wires attached to the Univolt are red, white, and blue. The red and white wires are attached to black wire extensions, and the blue wire is attached to a white, braided thread covered wire, which all lead to the fuse panel. On a multimeter, I get 12v between the white and red, and between the white and blue, but no volts between red and blue. Inside the Univolt, you can see where the blue wire attaches to the common end of a relay, the other 2 wires are attached to a NO and NC terminal of the same relay. My assumption was that the white wire was 12V+, red was 12V-, and blue was common, or ground. Ok, so on the new converter (a 55A Powermax), I have a +, a -, and a chassis ground. When I hooked it up according to my assumptions, I got no power to the cabin. No fuses blew, but nothing worked either. Any ideas?

If you post a picture of the fuse panel someone will be able to help.

Yeah, I should've taken a couple of pictures. Now my RV is out at a friend's house where we keep it when not in use, so pictures will probably take a couple of days. I'll post a couple pics when I get the chance. Thanks for the quick reply.

Update. Pictures finally.

So I ended up putting the old Univolt back in the Argosy for our last trip of the year, and it ended up dying halfway through the trip, leaving us with a dead battery twice. Finally, I got the pictures that I took back in August transferred to my PC, and here they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as now the Argosy is not charging at all with the old Univolt. We're planning on going full-time in April, and I need to get the Powermax working. There are no pictures of the Powermax, but the only inputs/terminals on it are +, -, and Chassis Ground, so pictures aren't really necessary. As you can see in the last picture, there are only 3 wires going into the Univolt - red, white, and blue. Seems simple, but my logic obviously didn't work.
