76' Argosy 28' Centre Bath Univolt help!

Okay so the previous owner installed a new converter a few years back, so I'm told...

I'm looking to replace said converter but cannot find a fuse panel, now my only question is, Where was the original fuse panel located? And where was the Univolt originally located?

Just trying to get things back the way they should be.

In my '74 Argosy 26'. The original converter was located in the closet in the bathroom. The fuse panel was built into the original converter.
The is also a separate fuse mounted on the interior skin connected to the negative wire from the battery.
Ours is a rear bath. You might try looking on the street side rear under the bed or whatever is in that corner.
Have you located the 120 volt power panel?

That is the same as my old 24' rear bath model...

My suspicion is that the PO removed the fuse panel completely.

The Breaker Box is in the rearmost upper cabinet opposite the bathroom.

The current converter is NOT attached to any fuses....that I can find.

Typically there are at least 4 -12 volt circuits wired into the coach. Unless the PO just bundled them together and connected the bundle to a wire from the new converter. There must be a fuse block somewhere.
Do you know if all of the 12 volt fixtures and appliances work? ie the vent fans; furnace blower; water pump etc.
Can you trace the wires (2) from the converter?

On my 28' 1977 center bath, the breaker box is in the night stand between the twin beds and the battery, converter and fuse panel are under the street side bed.

Everything works fine, except the kitchen lamp and the refrigerator on 120...

Once I get my new converter, I'll have to rewire in a fuse panel

Why can't people just do things right, the first time?!

OK! Solved the dilemma...The FUSE PANEL in 76' was a part of the Univolt...

The PO just eliminated it all together.

I can't decide if this or the electrical tape propane repair is more dangerous... decisions, decisions. The propane offers the possibility of explosions, but this one offers a stronger element of randomness, being more likely to be a random issue that could affect you years down the road, or never!

Your original post is confusing, where you mention converter and Univolt, when you match up your reply #6, which relates to 120V.

'Argosy 7728' is correct in his post, as my 120V breaker box is between the beds while the converter/Univolt with 12V fuses is by the curb side wheel well ('76 Argosy, rear twin beds and centre bath).
