Our camper has been hard wired, it has never had a battery since we have owned it. The 12 volt lights have always worked until last weekend. We changed the fuses but still no go. Help its dark in there

The battery acts as a filter and some what of a regulator for the Univolt.
I would check the output of the Univolt.
Either the 40 or 50 amp fuse is gone, or the Univolt itself, is now defective.
Andy is right. The batteries job is to stabilize the voltage to run around 12.8 or so. If you take the battery away the univolt can spike and destroy itself. Just like with a car if you were to remove the battery the alternator would not understand and go into overcharge mode and spike all the control units in the vehicle. You might check the fuses and reinstall a battery into the system and see how the univolt reacts. It might be toast.
Good luck
Vinnie
