Yamaha EF3000 iSEB questions

i'm trying to get a feel for how long the Yamaha EF3000 iSEB will run with only an AC unit being powered. i'm headed to bonnaroo in a week and trying to figure out how much gas i will need for 4 days, 4 nights? i'm planning on being very conservative with lights, etc and only using what is necessary. at night i'm hoping to open windows and run the fantastic fan instead of AC and run on battery power...i dont know if this will be possible or not...might be too stuffy?? by the way, did i mention this is my maiden voyage for this barely completed renovation project?

i realize that i'll be away from the airstream for parts of the day/night, but surely dont want to run out of gas. does anyone have suggestions as to how much gas they would take for such a trip? i know there are lots of variables in this equation.

Yamaha Inverter Generator EF3000iSEB - EF30isebh by: Yamaha -

According to chart on page, about 8 hours at full load, and my experience is similar (at least nothing to contradict the spec). I've owned this generator for about 5 years.

It all depends on the power draw of the air conditioner and how often compressor cycles off (especially at night it may run only a small fraction of the time, and go more than 20 hours on fuel tank). The air conditioner is very unlikely to take the full output of the generator even compressor on.

But at least you have a worst case scenario, assuming it consumes a tank of fuel every 8 hours. You may want to run the setup for a few hours and measure fuel consumption.
