For those with 25fbs and have mounted a Trimetric, IPN Pro Remote etc do you have to remove the fridge too run the cable down to the floor?

We had to remove the Classic fridge to get the solar panel power feed cable down through the refrigerator chimney along with the Verizon modem antenna and WiFi Ranger feeds. We also used some insulation and tape to block the hole in the wall in back of the thermostat in the refrigerator space which makes it read the room temperature rather than the air temp in the refrigerator space.

Also, this allows the wood support panel we made of Hickory for the thermostat, Magnum ARC-50 and TriStar displays to fastened to the wall from the refrigerator side with no screw heads showing in the front. See my avatar to the left that shows the Classic mission control area also with the SeeLevel control head above the WW II ship's clock.

No, we didn't remove it. Have done so several times but last three times I ran cables without moving fridge. Three different methods, in order: coat hanger as fish tape; ball chain (from big vertical blinds) for hanging down from roof to pull spot; and finally a 25' Klein fish tape. Why in the world I didn't go to the fish tape the first time, I can regretfully say, was stupidity.

Anyway, pulled the tstat off the wall, made a 3/4" hole above it at location for new Trimetric meter, soaped the jacket on the cat-5 cable and pulled it from fridge outside access using the coat hanger wire. Snug but zero problems. Fish tape would only have been twice as easy and quicker.
