It's not at all unusual for the first set of batteries on a new Airtream (or any RV) to be in very bad shape due to understandably poor treatment by the dealer while on the lot (who has time and manpower to check and make sure the batteries are fully charged all the time or not overcharged by continuous connection to shore power?)

See if you can get the batteries replaced under warranty and then get a 3 stage charger as previously suggested to take better care of your new batteries.
yup.. new Battery AND Converter time... contact 'Lewster' on this forum for Lifeline batteries..

Peace and Blessings..

I'm sure the batteries are toast.

If you discharge a deep cycle battery down to less than 10V then you will take 10% off the capacity of the battery. Every time you do this it takes another 10% off the capacity. Do the same thing with a Car starter battery and the number is closer to 25%.

Look up the battery charge tables on the Internet and keep one handy....such as
