I will try this again, the first time I received little help. I have a 30foot 2014 Flying Cloud that works perfect.
I have installed an 18 Watt solar panel and its working fine.
I am in the process hooking up a controller to maintain correct voltage's .
When I hook up the controller I get the following.
With the coach batteries hooked up. The controller charge light goes out when I hook it up to the batteries. If I disconnect the Batteries from the chassis and hook up the controller it works as it should. The charge light comes on and the batteries charge.
If I unhook the only the Negative battery terminal from the chassis the controller works as it should. If I unhook only the Positive battery terminal the controller does not indicate charge.
The best answer I have so far is False Polarity and have no idea what that is.
Seems to me if I have a ground issue it would have shown up before this.
I removed the two 30 amp fuses from the main 12 volt circuit, hooked up the controller, and replaced the fuses, and the controller charge lamp came on.!!!!!
It is working, but i still do not understand what is going on. Must be a sticking something???
I'll report any conclusion that resolves the issue.
