Renogy Solar Suitcase Problem & Solution

I like my Renogy 200 Watt Solar Suitcase, but there is a small design problem which I have had to deal with. There are four plastic blocks which are used to mount the legs of the suitcase. I have had three of them break. Renogy sent me replacements, but they broke too.

My fix was to replace the plastic block with a drilled and tapped aluminum block. The pictures show a new plastic block, a broken plastic block, a new aluminum block and the aluminum blocks installed. If anyone is interested in plans, feel free to PM me.

Very nice fix. Too bad Renogy does not use different material for their mounting blocks.
