I have hard wired a Zamp Single Side/Wall Port into the side of my battery box extension. It uses a SAE marine grade Quick disconnect. I am replacing the clips that come on the suitcase panel with an SAE plug.

I am about to have my first test experiment with Renogy panels myself. I'll be using a piano hinge and some feet to build a ground deploy suitcase of my own out of two of their 150 watt panels. For 300 watts on the ground. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

Mine will be tied into my BS Solar Boost 2512ix

Yep, I did what AWChief did last spring only adding one to each side of the battery box. Makes connection easy

I am in the process of returning my flexible 50 watt panel I used for battery charging while in storage to Renogy. I decided today to order another 100 watt suitcase for that function.

Rod, give Renogy a call. They have really good open box prices on the suitcase systems with and without controller if that would work for you. Considering that myself.
