New Lewster solar install review

After our 2016 Airstream purchase from Bay Area Airstream Adventures, we made an appointment with Lew Farber in Hood River, Oregon. We had been studying in the Forum for close to two years on solar installation and even though I had installed solar and wind power on our home, we felt that it would be appropriate to not reinvent the wheel and climb the learning curve on our new trailer.
You generally know when you “hear” someone answer questions (especially when you are a professor who has taught for over 30 years) that they know their stuff. Lew met us at his shop after a series of email and phone queries, and laid out the build plan clearly and professionally. We left knowing our rig was in very capable hands, and upon return, this was proven out. Every detail was completed with not just technical skill but also artistically. Wiring and connections all were top notch, labeled, and explained. Lew built a 400 watt Magnum hybrid inverter system using a Blue Sky system core and Victron lithium iron phosphate batteries. He also installed a cell booster and antenna, as we will be working and writing from the road permanently. The rooftop looked like an architectural sketch in its precision and layout, little details were thought out that a less-than-precision engineer would skip. Lew also added a fridge vent fan that would improve its circulation performance.
Overall, we are extremely pleased and would highly recommend him to anyone who, after reading this Forum’s solar section, is still on the fence.

I've never met Lew but he has been more than helpful with his advice on my battery issues.
