Looking for a Honda EU2000

Even though I'm in Michigan, last Summer up here it was cooking most of the Summer. I was thinking about getting a EU2000 to run my AC on low just to break the oven status in the evening. Where is the best/cheapest place to get one. I thought I saw a $875 shipped listed here someplace about a couple weeks ago. Fog

Mayberry's in NJ used to have the best price. Not sure what they are going for, but most places are over $900. Hope you have an 11,000 BTU and not a 13,500 or larger.

Mayberry's as the best price by far

You can run a 13.5k BTU AC on low using the Honda EU2000i. I did it on my 2003 KZ Frontier. It won't work with older AC units.

It depends on the 13.5k BTU AC. Some are low power and typically draw 10 amps. The one on our 2001 draws 15. It can start if the fan is on low, and the batteries are fully charged so the converter isn't drawing any power, but both the generator and AC struggle, meaning a shorter life for both generator and AC compressor. That's why we run two EU2000s in parallel. We also got them from Mayberrys.
