Know what this 'Handcuff' type lock is?

I saw this "Handcuff" looking lock today securing a Honda 3000 to a TT. The owner was not around so I couldn't ask him/her. Does anyone out there know what this device is called and if it is any good? It looks very secure.

I think it's a bicycle lock made by master lock.

And about one minute with a battery operated saw and I can cut the handle off the Honda and have it for my rig. What looks secure to you may not to the bad guys.

No lock, and no security system, is foolproof. You'll never stop a professional thief, or even a well-prepared amateur, who is determined to get your stuff. The best you can hope for is to force opportunistic "casual" thieves to look for easier pickings elsewhere.

I was thinking, instead of a handcuff-type Master lock, you might do better with real handcuffs. That might make some thieves think that a cop owns the generator, which might be more of a deterrent than the lock itself.

There is a steel cover available that wraps around the hondas handle to protect it from being cut off

In this case the thief cuts the handle and steel cover with an acetylene torch, or better yet a laser. In the process he (or she) sets fire to and burns to the ground, the truck or trailer it is chained to.
