How do I hook up both a power converter and solar panels to my '78 Airstream.

I tried to look through some threads so as not to duplicate, but I may have missed something. I have a 78 Sovereign and I'm trying to figure out how to start working on the electrical system. It's got the original transformer, and I've read that it's a good idea to replace it. I'm leaning toward the progressive dynamic 60 amp power converter charge wizard. What I don't understand is the exact capability of this device, do I also need an inverter for providing 110 power? or is an inverter built into this device. I also have a few solar panels, and I want to hook them up to top the battery off. Can I hook them to the power converter or do I need a separate solar charge controller, and if I get that can I connect it directly to the battery?

hello estock, you will need a solar controller for your panels. hook the controller to the batts, hook panels to the controller. you can mount your pa nels on your roof, or remote them like i do. your comverter should be replaced; it does not have an inverter in it.

My method may be a bit convoluted and overly complex, but here it is:
