Is it possible to use a 30amp y adapter to plug one in the 3 pronged outlet and one in the 4 pronged outlet sat on 120v and connect to my 50amp Airstream? It seems I should be getting close to 44 amps instead of 30amps.

Hi

As mentioned earlier in the thread, your "50A" Airstream is actually a 100A (240 V at 50A = 120V at 100A) Airstream if you compare it to a standard 30A ( 120V at 30A) hookup. You run into the same sort of issue when you try to hook to more than one connector on the generator.
