Honda EU2000i won't start NO Spark

Hi There, I'm fix Honda EU2000i for a friend. The story I was told the unit ran out of gas and never start up again. Had good fuel and carburetor is clean and new spark plug was replaced.
I have NO spark. Anyone have service manual share

I had the same problem, and after mucho problemo, the Mrs says, " should that there dial switch be pointing to RUN"? Been workin' like a purebred mule ever since.

If you look here Honda Power Equipment - Operator's and Owner's Manuals
you will find that the service manual is not available as a download. But it does tell you where you can order one.

Yep I agree CHECK THE SWITCH. In fact disconnect it and check for spark. THEN if still nothing it may have a low-oil pressure switch which may be bad.This also will give a no spark situation. While not on a HONDA I recently ran into a shorted kill wire(same as a bad switch) that like to drove me nuts. I deal with things like this on a daily basis.

Well is not the on/off switch or the low oil switch, both funtion normally and still NO SPARK

Anyone else have any idea?

Ignitor? That's the electronic piece that tells everything when to spark.
