Hey TBRich,

Just as a prior poster noted, the new Honda is rated at up to 65 DB, and this is 7 DB louder than the Yamaha 2400. The 2800 Yamaha is also in the mid 60 Db range. The new Honda will run for 7 hours at 1/4 throttle....so that means when it is 100+ in AZ, you will have to fill it up every two hours?

I analyzed all the data a couple years ago...went with the Yamaha 2400 with the tri fuel option from US Carberation. Runs so smooth (on propane), so quiet, and it will run my AC (13.5k) all night on a tank of gas and a whole lot longer than that on a tank of propane!

I think I will consider propane operation. Its been my experience with tow-motors that propane fired engines last longer. Oil changes are less frequent because propane leaves no ash behind to dirty the oil. DO I understand that Honda does NOT offer a propane capability.???
