Just buy a $20 dolly from Home Depot and wheel it around. if you can lift 140 lbs onto a truck, go with the EU3000 otherwise, 2 EU2000's will do you fine. [COLOR=red

Hi, Yamaha did that with the 2400 @ 70lbs. And that is one of the main reasons that I bought the Yamaha 2400.

Robert, how many hours do you have on that 2400? I think I am a little over 135 hrs. with the 3000iSEB and she runs great. I did find one quirk though. If the carb has fuel in it when I run it up or down the ramps loading it into the truck, it has a tendency to foul the plug and won't start until I pull/clean the plug off. No problem if the fuel shut off has been used and the carb empty.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was told when you bridge (2) Eu2000's together, you can't use the standard 120v outlets on theEu2000's. You can only use the 30 amp receptacle on the parallel kit. At least on the Eu3000, you have the option of using both the 30 amp twist lock and standard duplex receptacles. We all agree that two Eu2000's are more portable than 1 Eu3000 and I'm sure thieves know that also.
Light weight and portability do indeed make it attractive to thieves. There is even concern that if you run chain or wire rope through the handle that thieves will cut through the handle to get the Honda. Ouch.

I do like the concept of twin generators, kinda like twin outboards on a boat. Keep in mind though that it is more time consuming to set up 2 EU2000's with external fuel tanks and the parallel kit than 1 EU3000. My philosophy on generators is better to have the power and not need it than need it and not have it. By the way, Yamaha makes the EF2400iS which is rated @ 2000 watts and 2400 peak and weighs 70 lbs. Too bad Honda does not make a unit like this. I considered the Yamaha, but my Honda dealer is 5 minutes away. Any feedback on the Yamaha's?
Bought the 2400, sold it just as quick. The unit does not live up to Yamaha's advertising and claims. If you're looking for a generator to run a 13500 BTU AC, you need more watts than the 2400 can provide. Keep using it and you'll be looking for a new gen set or AC - depends on which one gives out/burns out first.

What about the Honda EB3000? It weighs 68 lbs and puts out 3000 watts. The contractor who works at my local library has one and loves it! It's not as quiet as an EU3000, but it's much lighter and puts out the same power. Honda Power Equipment - EB3000

I'm sure your neighbors in the next campsite at the state park will also love it and you too.

The EB3000 will do the job as far as providing the power, but at 70+ db, I sure hope that you're camping by yourself. I don't think that I would care to be in the same campground when you fire that dude up.

While at the 2008 Vintage Trailer Jam the Colin Iwasa from Yamaha USA ran my 15K BTU AC for over 45 minutes. I had the frig on gas and the 2 AGM batteries were charged (have solar). No other 110 volt AC devices were on. I ran the 19 LCD Sony TV via the inverter for 15 minutes while AC was on high fan speed and the compressor was on. After I shut the TV off, Colin asked me to have my wife plug in her hair dryer(2000 watt) and run it on low heat. She had it on for over 5 minutes. We switched it up to high heat the the breakers tripped on the generator and AS. We reset the breakers (AS and 2400) and waited 5 minutes before starting the 2400 and AC. The AC's compressor came on after about a minute and it continued to cool the camper. The 2400 never ran that loudly even with the hair dryer on low speed. The temperature was in the upper 80's and humidity was high.
