Jerry's right. The converter will do a better job of charging than the DC output on the Honda. Just plug the trailer's power cord into the adapter cord that goes to the twist-lock connector on the generator, and start the generator up.

While it's charging, you can use the 120VAC things in the trailer.

The trailer has a converter in it that charges the batteries, as well as supplies the 12 volts for the lights, fans, etc in the trailer when you are plugged into 120VAC electrical powre (so that isn't coming out of the batteries).

Jerry and Maurice, Thanks for the info. I get it now. Just wish I was brave enough to use the EU2000 on my air conditioner...Jamie

Jamie - You can run the ac on your Bambi with the 2000. I run the 11k on my 25' Safari. Just run the refrig on gas. It is marginal but it works for me. See my post above where i installed a quick start kit and it really made a difference.

"Brave" wouldn't be my choice of words, Jamie. You did the right thing for both your generator and air-conditioner by selecting the 3000.
