Jim -- The only way a name change should occur is by you clicking the 'Contact us' link at the bottom of any Forums page. This establishes a chain of communication if you get cut off. Be sure to send the contact us message from your registration email account -- otherwise we can't process the request due to identity security, etc. You can check or update your email account in your control panel (User CP) on the blue menu bar at top left when you're signed in.
A name change is actually very easy. Usernames are case sensitive -- TROPHYJIM2 and TrophyJim2 are not the same people. Tell that to your customers...

I have been in conversation with the "new Hensley Guy" and may get that hitch. I want to break in on some smaller trips...learn the so I'm ready to spend even more time in travel land. Later Jim

It must run in the "trophy family" we have similar set ups.....27' FB, two 2000 generators, F250 truck, just got a Hensley hitch, been in the trophy business since 1980....but not ready to retire!

We've been working on our "retirement plan" slowly. Used SOB first. Business ALWAYS first since the beginning, but at some point in life things start to change and priorities shift. Long Hours for many years and a frugle lifestyle.....up to the point of the Classic 27 anyway
Checker Auto Parts has the 3500 watt Champion for $199 after mail in rebate. I bought one today. I found that it does marginally run the AC. It is loud and may not have a long life, but the price was hard to pass up.

You might be surpirsed to learn that your New Truck probably has synthetic in it from day one. MOST new vehicles come from the factory with synthetic in the crank case. Corvetts specify it. Ford motor company puts synthetic from day one. So does Honda and many others including Farrari (just in case you might own one of them ). I have no idea where this got started but you DO NOT need to break in an engine before you put synthetic in it. That goes for your Honda genny. Use synthetic anytime its the best way to go. You might be surprised to learn that many oils that are NOT classicfied as synthetic use synthetic additives just not enough percent to be called synthetic and to keep priceing low. Oil classifications changed several times over the last few years and synthetic added to or in place of Dino oil is the cheapest way for oil companys to get their oils up to standards.
Champion gennys are made in china. But then so are some of the contractor gennys with Honda power plants. But they are all noisy. I understand money is a big factor and Honda's are exspensive. But well worth the investment. Honda has gone to great research and development to make their gennys the quietest on the planet. Yammys are close but not as quiet.
Our local Honda dealer is very exsperience with gennys and WILL NOT WORK ON CHANPIONS OR MANY OTHER gennys. He also sells Yamahas......but says the Hondas are the best from a mechanical standpoint. He has been in the small engine business for over 40 years.
Yamaha has a new 4500 out. Very quiet (rated at 59db). The Honda 3000i is the quietest of them all. If a person can afford it and needs it Honda has a 6500i inverter that is 60 dbl. full throttle and 52 dbl at idle and very very impressive if you run two A/C units. I heard one run next to the 3000i and there was a noticable difference but not much. And it would run one A/C at idle so it would be quieter than a much small unit when not under full load.
Gowyn , if it will run your AC and do what you want it to at the house, buy the Champion. The noise makes no differance, most places won't let you run after 8 pm. You can buy 3 Champions or one of the others. I found that the differance is in the weight, price, and the cleaness of the output (the ability to run computers, etc.) I favor the Yahama, but everybody has one they prefer.

I kept telling a friend of mine to buy a Honda 2000 now and get another one later when he got his bonus check. He bought a Champion 3500 instead. I helped set his Damon CarryLite up last weekend and he pulled the generator out. It started second pull (first time running) and ran the AC just fine. I am not sure if he has an 11,000 BTU AC or 13,500 BTU. It was not as loud as I expected it to be but definitely louder than my Yamaha 3000iSEB. I could have slept fine inside his trailer with the genny running with no problem.

I guess I should have said that there weren't any other campers but if I was 50 yards away it would not have been objectionable. The muffler on that thing was like a reduced size car muffler, not like what you see on a lawnmower. Would I want to be camping 5 yards from him, nope.

Even with one very quiet 2000, if we're camp'n close to others, especially tenters, we always offer an outlet. In 18yrs of camping with a generator we have never had anyone take us up on the offer. (except twice at dog shows)
Never had any noise complaints either. Be considerate.. it helps.
