Generator (regular mounting alternative)

Here are a couple pictures of how I mounted the regular when I converted my generator to ruin on propane. Instead of mounting the regulator to the unit I attached it to a plastic mounting which I drilled holes in the bottom for the generator to sit on then used a quick connect.

In this way you can pack your generator easily and have the regulator out of harms way.

I guess I don't know how to post pictures here but if anyone is interested they can pm me and I will reply.

Thanks Dave

Thumbs up

Looks like a workable option, nice to find your own solutions, good work.

With our Honda I still wanted to have the gas option so I bought a second front panel to use when on petrol. The mounted regulator & supply line gets stored in a separate bag and the Honda still fits in the 24gal ActionPacker for transport.
