My 72 International has that thing I will caution you all on is that generator has no power regulation on it's outputs.
The output voltage is controlled by the idle speed.
This means if you have the idle speed set too high, you will send 17v or more to everything connected to 12v power.......instantly blowing anything voltage senstive.

I have one of the ONAN 12 volt propane powered chargers 120 actual hours of use.....very sharp
