Swell machine. A little quieter than a Honda 2000, lots more power, lots more weight than a Honda 2000.

I've got a Yam. 2400 with propane / natural gas conversion. It runs my a/c just fine, but I think the a/c is just an 11,000 BTU unit: cools my 23' Safari just fine, whatever it is. And I don't have to clean the spark arrestor every ten hours ... spec. is to clean it every 12 months or 300 hours, whichever comes first. Neither has arrived for me yet, and I've had no difficulty. (I've also got a larger 6600 watt Yamaha with same style spark arrestor for home backup, and I've never cleaned the spark arrestor on it - same design - shame on me ... and it runs just fine.)

Hi, I'm sure that this is a great generator; I bought the Yamaha 2400 due to it's weight [about 70 lbs] and I can power my A/C with one generator.

generator--no no

Just a warning, I purchased one of those Chinese copies
a Magnatech 3000. Also marketed under many other names like Honeywell etc etc. It is a piece of junk, and no
support. When it does run it is quiet, and puts out about 2200 Watts. Thats after priming it about 30 times, and make sure you do not put gasahol in it. The company refuses to issue a RMA to return it (Asia Marketing)
Should have spent twice as much and bought the Honda
