Fuel tank choices for parallel 2000i's

I'm about to pull the trigger on the combo 200i & Combo set. One last question. Is there a particular external fuel tank of choice? I'd like one that I can use in parallel, but also with a single unit. Many thanks, Bill

I purchased my Extend run tank off Ebay. Its 6 gallon dual port and yes it can run a single as the hookups are quick disconnect. I think I gave about a $150 including shipping and the guy thru in an oil change extension kit( machined alumimum Extention) that extends the oil fill out away from the bottom of the engine so to prevent spillage inside the generator case. I think the guy was in upstate NY.His shipping was prompt and communication good. SORRY I dont have his name or business card, but I will look.

I use the PI Industries dual feed Breeze tank, model# HND1.2-000iD. It works well for me with one or both Honda 2000i generators. Amazon.com has it for $170, but you may be able to do better.

I made mine up using some stuff I already had and ordered up some fittings. I am using an old (but clean rust free) metal Johnson outboard 6 gallon tank. I used an outboard fuel line with primer bulb. I cut it and installed a glass NAPA cleanable fuel filter. I ordered a brass Tee and then ran two lines to the Eu2000 aluminum caps (ordered) with threaded 1/4" holes on top. I mounted brass elbows and male OMC marine fuel connectors. The ends of each fuel line are fitted with the corresponding female OMC fuel connectors.
This setup can run one Gennie or two as the OMC connectors seal when disconnected.

Thanks for the replies. Has anyone used the EZ Tank from VM Sales? Just trying to make an informed decision.

I would not buy from VM sales out of Texas. I bought his system for a single generator and a few months later, I went to buy for the second generator and he wouldn't sell them to me. He thought that I was going to compete with him and make some up, which is not true, he will not sell you parts, if you break something. The 1/4" L fitting, are glued to the top of the gas caps, which are prone to break easily. You are better off buying another brand, that have aluminum caps that are threaded for your fittings.
