I don't know anything about them, found them on Google.

Had to take the power jack head to C&G for warranty repair. Asked about the cost of Solar installation. Prices listed below include parts and labor but not batteries. Have AGM already.
I have a meeting with the largest and most knowledgeable solar dealer in Oregon on Thursday. If all goes well, I'll probably start installing them as well. Lots of interest in places like FL and here on the Forums.
I'll keep all of you posted on the results of the meeting!
Lewster, I'd love to engage you for a consult. My PO had two 45 watt units installed, removed one before he sold it to me, and said the controller is a good one. Since he didn't tell me he removed the second unit until after I got the unit home, I have no idea if the controller is any good either.
So - if you have a slot open in Albuquerque, l'd like to sign up.

Lewster When you do get up to speed on solar, then I hope you will come I10 in Mississippi and install one for me. We want to be a little more off grid in some of our camping and I know we can do allot more if we go solar. I have only recently looked into the solar option and am very much the novice. Lots of great research info here, Thank You all.
Just got back from Eugene,OR and my meetings with the good folks at AM Solar. Let me tell you that they really know what they are doing, have been in the solar business for over 20 years and do installs just the way I will.......THE RIGHT WAY!
Use quality wire of the proper guage to minimize voltage loss (very important in solar systems) with top grade connectors, use the BEST controller available (they build their own!) and sell only the most reliable custom built solar panels (by BP Solar) and all of this equals a very tight system.... probably the best available.
We still have some talking to do on dealer specifics, but it looks like a GO at this point.
Pat, lot's of slots available.......just grab me when you have a minute or you see me with an adult beverage in my hand instead of a wrench.
Clancey, I'll keep you posted on the specifics. I can bring a system with me on the way back to FL after the Balloon Fiesta.........................
They are some knowledgeable folks. After reading their book, "RV'ers Solar Primer" and checking out their website, I chose them to supply the kit I installed on my 25' Sovereign. I really like the higher voltage panels manufactured by BP and their own "boost" controller.

that's great to hear lew, thanks for the postive update.
i'd love to purchase their system as well but the "only one size panel" they offer is a drag. i need two panels no more than 42" long. i'm looking at the kyocera 85 watt panels (two of them).
lew, any idea if they will be offering smaller size panels in the near future?

Lew,
PM some cost estimates for an install on a 22' 2003 CCD. I need some figures to start on my Christmas present list..... BTW, There would be parking here for ya.

David,
They did offer a narrow size that was perfect for Airstreams at one time, but the demand just wasn't there as they have to have at least 1000 panels manufactured at a time to be cost effective for them.
I'll ask again next time I'm down there (2 weeks) and let you know if there is anything positive.
