Champion RV Generator

We just picked one of these up at Cabelas a few weeks ago for <$350 otd. Not super quiet like the Hondas or Yamahas but considering the multiple use (home outage, rural property & RV) we figured it was a decent buy. A friend of mine who is a mechanic has already suggested a few 'muffler modifications' to keep the new neighbors happy.

All that is gold does not always glitter...those who wander not always are lost....

I am in a similar situation and also got the champion. It works great although a little bit louder. Let me know how your modification on the muffler works. I designed a small collapsible sound house that helps a bit as well.

You'll need more than a muffler to quiet that thing! But, as long as your not in a campground..... With generators, it's all about your neighbors..... Everyone loves my Yamaha.
