Any difference ?

Had a Mallard sprinter, getting an Airstream.

Ran Honda 2000 generators with the Mallard with no problems or issues.

Will there be anything different on the Airstream I need to know when using generators or is it all the same deal.

Thanks,

Robbie R.

Pretty much the same type of restrictions between the two unit.
As you know
certain things are a no no, like microwave running at the same time as the A/C etc..
Of course, you can read the thread on that subject too..

Should be the same...

Was the Mallard 30 amp? Your AS will likely be 30 amp, so make sure you have the correct plug coverters, etc. for the generator(s)...if you need them. Our Honda 2000 Campanion has a 30 amp plug-in but it is a twist & lock 30 amp plug-in, so we have to use a converter with it to receive a regular 30 amp RV plug.

Thanks guys, that is what I needed to know. My other was a 30 amp and I now have 2 Hondas 2000s companions so I should be good to go.

I just wanted to make sure AS did not have some sort of lock out or electrical deal that made a generator hard to use unless you did certain things etc.

Should be just like the other campers then.

Everything should be pretty much the same. I use a pair of Hinda 2000's with the older parallel add-on unit. Mine has the 30 amp RV outlet that the Airstream plugs into without any adapter.
