Wiring new interior light
I'm replacing the interior cone lights on my '67 Tradewind. When I pulled the light off I've got one black and one white wire. The replacement light has one black, one white, and a bare copper wire on the back. How should I connect these? Not sure if I should combine the bare copper wire with the white ground wire and then splice that into the white trailer ground. .. or if I just clip it off if it's not needed. It boils down to how connect three wires (on new lamp) to two wires on the trailer. I appreciate any advice from those more electrically inclined. Thanks, Jim
