Which LED for spot reading lights?

Has anyone upgraded their spot reading lights to LED? Did you install the 12 LED or the 9? Curious which one puts out the "right" amount of light.

I did 9 and very bright, now if I want to use it DW sitting across from me asked me to make a shade, best thing is the lack of heat from the LED versus the incandescent.

I installed 9 LED. I used the warm white. We like them. I also used 9's warm whites in the ceiling. We like them also.

We haven't tried putting a dimmer on them.

The only issue we have with the LED's is interference with the Samsung television when it is on the antenna and the overhead LED's are on. Some digital over the air stations don't come in when the overhead LED's are on. Turn the LED's off and the reception is good. No issues with the LED's and cable.

Some LEDs can be dimmed with a dimmer but all LEDs have to be dimmed with a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Dimmer.

Here is what I used over the bed;

It is a dimmable LED chart light from YachtLights.com

Available is several lengths. I used the 4" which is actually on a swivel, not a gooseneck.

Is there any solution for the interference caused by some LED's. I had the same issue a few years ago with LED's in the spot reading lamps. I took them out and still have them but can't use with the new trailer ( different base).

We like these Reading Lights. I bought the LED itself and plan to use it in the Porch Light on our '59.

They are the third set of LED lights we tried -- they were the only ones we tried that allowed us to read with the light behind us while boondocking.
