Unidentified thing on Airstream Skin

That is a fiber optic light to show the driver in their mirror that the back lights are working.

That is turn signal and brake indicator. It looks damaged as should be strait line on front edge and not bowed in. I believe Inland Rv and Out of doors Mart have them they are both AS dealers.

It is a gimmick and a source of water leaks. It is suppose to tell you if your tail lights are working. If you don't see it light up at night with the lights on then the fibers are cut somewhere and it makes it about as useless as mammary glands on a bore hog. There is a fiber for the left and right sides.
