The front door lights...

Hey Inland I have another one for you. The is the door light (overhead), and the scare light to the side on this 1970 27' model overlander...is the light bulb inside the scare light the same kind (small clear) we use on the interior? Ones that you push in a little and twist to the side? The light over this door has a short in it and it did work...went to replace that bulb and it is really hard to get your fingers in there to make insertions.

I am not at my office, but if I remember correctly, both bulbs should be 1141.

We placed one bulb in the scare light fixture and it worked! Now we are after re-wiring the light fixture up above the door. Thanks again Inland.

You don't have to wrestle with the door light bulb.

Take the cover off.

It's held in place with screws.

You may find the socket is history.

If so, new sockets are available, but the new style uses a "plug in" type bulb, making replacement of the bulb much easier.
