Tail Light Monitor (fiber Optic)

I am looking to replace the tail light monitor on my 77 Excella 500. Does anyone know where I can find them?

Thanks in advance,
DR

Kinda depends on what you have left. Fiber optic cable is available. The special fittings and lenses for the tail lights maybe not. You can use l.e.d.s at the bulb end, the other end just needs a polish.

If you're looking for the plastic piece that mounts to the side of the A/S, I believe that Inland Andy sells them.
There was another thread about this a few months ago, someone was making aluminum pieces to replace the plastic. You may find the thread with a search.
Good luck.

The stainless steel replacement shrouds were all sold. I forget the name of the individual who had them made and then allowed forums members to purchase them from him at cost for $20, but I do know that they were all sold. He had one more that wasn't sold which he placed on eBay that I managed to purchase for twice what the others sold for earlier. So, unless someone can remember his name and convince him to get more made, the stainless steel shrouds are no longer an option.

That was "Ganglin". Maybe, if enough are interested he'd run another batch?

Are you all saying you can purchase the parts and add this to a new Airstream? I'd love to have one on my '06 model. How would you go about running the fiber optic cable through the shell?

Can we have a picture of this shroud?
I know of a black rubber like piece that holds the two optic "lights" .
Is this the shroud? So what is the metal piece?
Seems the black rubber like thing was covered by a plastic cover at one time??
Am I wrong?

Any idea where to get the fiber optic cables? One of mine I know is broken. Not sure about the other cable yet.
