Tail Light Always On

Hi,

I have a problem with my 67 Safari, where the right rear tail light is continuously lit when connected to the TV. The marker lights and left stop/signal lights all work fine. I checked the wiring on my TV, and everything works as documented.

Is this a short? I'm not sure, as I'm not blowing fuses. I don't think it's a ground issue, as it wouldn't work at all.

I'm stumped, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Gary

Open the trailer connector and see if there are any stray wire strands touching from the charge line to the light. Sometimes the wire will fray and cause theses stray lights.

Fixed

Thanks, Shacksman! I took the cover off the trailer side connector, and calling it a mess is putting it mildly. There were wires that were not connected, half connected, etc. I cleaned it up and reconnected all the wires, and everything works now!
