Switches at door

I have there switches by the door . One works for the flood light. One switches the stair light. I have another which has three contacts. The schematic shows it operating the galley light and the fan on the range exhaust. The galley light does switch , but I have a red and white wire which does not run to the galley fan. What does this line run to?

Also why would they have put a switch on the door when the micro switch on the lever turns on the fan?

Both the door switch and the original galley light switch, were three way switches.

The one with three contacts in mine is a three way switch with the light over the kitchen sink. It to has two red with white stripe wires and one brown wire which is the hot wire.

The light over the kitchen sink also has a switch on it.

Thanks for the information. So I take it it did not go to the range exhaust fan only to the galley light. Thanks

Is the rocker switch on the galley wall for 12v lights above the galley? We have a "78" with no galley lights but wiring it there. Should I be looking for 12v or 110v lights? Thanks!
