Rachelle? When did you get the 1 after your screen name?

By the way, I still use the Cooking On Wheels book I got from you some years back.

Oh yeah, post some pics of those lights!

Original LOOKING interior lights for vintage trailers

*** If you have a Menards home improvement store/ lumber yard near you, look in the sales brochure in today's paper.. Sunday, April 18, 2004... on page 27. What do you think of those double cone lights?? They're REALLY close to the original look! I don't know if they would be workable, or not. ***
*** I have the original lamps from my 1967 Ambassador; the person who sold us the trailer took them out and put in shiny brass. But THANK HEAVENS she saved them! She said the swivel ball is loose, but that part is replacable..... Or I may have to go to Menards. Those original lamps will be on the "honey-do" list this week... no rest for that guy! ***

found the info the site is solarseller.com ph# 562-423-4879 they have lots of other stuff that would be useful in an rv. but have the"largest selection of d/c lights anywhere" and i personally know that their prices are the lowest of any of the regular retailers in this industry by a substantial margin.

The 1977 Soap TV comedy with Billy Crystal always promised at the end of the show to clear things up next week. 'Next week' in this case was a mighty long time ago. For the original flamingo-kid1 thread begun in 2004, moderators usually will move radically later posts to their own thread. That seems to have been done in this case.

Staying on topic is one thing but we do try to prevent attaching new ideas to very old threads. To start a new thread:
- Log into the forums.
- Click on the "forums" tab at the top of the page. You will see a list of subforum/topic areas.
- Click on the subforum that best suits your intended post. Thus your posts & subsequent responses were moved to the 'Lights - Interior & Exterior' subforum.
- Once it opens you will see a list of threads already in that subforum. At the top of the list, over toward the left, you should see a "new thread" button.
- Click new thread and follow the prompts.

Frederic, RaChelle's username has been flamingo-kid1 as long as I can recall. Recall is always a dicey thang...

CRS is a helluva thing, isn't it?

Must be all the JP-8 and MEK fumes I've sniffed over the years.

I generally have a shot of Jet A with a MEK chaser just to get me jump started every morning
