short in my 1969 overlander running lights .. cable route ?

Hi all,

I have a short in the marker lights of my '69 overlander 27" ..
I think I have narrowed it down to the curb side top marker.. but.. the cable to it is still shorted.. i would like t replace it, and have removed the speaker, radio cabinet , and outside lamp.. but where does the cable go to ?

i can follow it from the 3 front markers to the curb side.. but my arms are to short to feel all the way to the marker light .. that marker light seems to be the power source for the front lights.. but where does the "feed" come from, route wise ? (I don't see any wiring behind the speaker)

where does the wire to the tail lights run ? (so i can isolate the short)

please help !

Axel

for future reference..

after removing part of the ceiling,
I discovered the cable to the rear end runs trough the ceiling , after coming up from the curbside marker, towards the ceiling light.
I am still trying to find the cable that comes up from the floor to the front marker lights.
