Scare light led upgrade

This is a complete scare light upgrade.

You'll be removing the existing 5 1/2 inch light assembly.

Tool list:
Razor blade
Phillips screw driver
Wire strippers
Power drill
Extra long 1/4 inch extension

Parts list:
Maxxima M42450 CLEAR LED BACK UP LIGHT
Maxxima M43253BCH SNAP ON FLANGE
Trucklite 94992 2PRONG PIGTAIL
Blue butt connector
#8 eyelet wire connector
Small trek screw
Sealant
Putty tape

*** Flange gasket is obsolete***if it breaks you'll need to make a new one or use putty tape to seal.
Remove old scare light ( try to save gasket )
Cut red wire ( leave some wire on old light)
Remove old sealant
Snap new led bulb into flange
Use putty tape to seal back of light.
Cut eyelet off pigtail. Strip and crimp on smaller eyelet.
The new light needs to be grounded to work.( I used the window frame. )
Screw pigtail ground wire to frame.
Connect red power wire.
Connect pigtail to light assembly
Install old mounting screws or replace with new.
Apply sealant around flange.

Enjoy your new even scarier scare light.
