| Save the telltale
Here's a simple way to keep the fiber optic telltale system when converting the tail lights to leds. You need to wire in an extra giant led that replaces the lens behind the bulb in the fixture. Just drill a hole in the diode to receive the fiber optic cable and use all of the original grommets.
