AWESOME! I was the one who approached Steve last year about making these after investigating a possible tuna can replacement. He told me a few months ago that this project was a go. Pretty cool for those who want to stay vintage and use the fiber optic side reader and not go LED.

Monitor

The fiber optic monitor, can be used with some LED tail lights.

We will post a photo to show how to do it, in a few days.

Has anybody tackled this yet? I like the idea of retaining that unique feature with an upgrade. Don

I forgot about the photo.

But, at least with the LED that we offer, a small hole like a # 30 can be drilled dead center in the back of the light, that goes in about 3/8 of an inch.

Then simply insert the monitor fiber optic cable in that hole.
