Replace double bullseye markers with teardrop. Sacrilege?

I need to replace my marker lights on a '73 overlander. It has the period double bullseye markers. I think they look quite utility, and not very fitting with the style of the airstream.

I am considering replacing the markers with 60's style teardrop lights (except for the rear waist height corners because they're mounted on shaped aluminum mounts.)

Is this scandalous?

Does anyone make an LED teardrop light (without just shoving an led bulb in an incandescent fixture)?

I prefer the double bullseye over the teardrop.
