[Q]Where does TV Ground to Frame?

My 65' Caravel has an indicator lights ground problem. I've managed to fix it by running a ground directly from the harnes wire bundle to the frame. I do this using the access panel that is located where the "A" part of the frame meets the belly panel. This will work, but I don't like it much.
This problem makes it clear that there is something wrong with the original ground wire or fuse for the indicator lights. I'd like to inspect this, am having trouble locating where the indicator light's ground is fused and goes to the frame.
Does anyone know where the indicator light's ground goes to the frame/skin? If I can find that out, then I should be able to inspect it and perhaps not need my workaround.

I have a 1965 Safari and the white wire from the access panel runs to the rear and then up through the U-channel and wraps around a bolt holding the channel to the plywood and rear cross frame. Then it comes out of the wall and into the fuse box and ties into all other ground wires.It was badly corroded where it wrapped around the bolt. do not know if your set up is the same. Where is the indicator light you mentioned? I can e-mail pics if you e-mail. oyoriver@fuse.net

I looked at the pics and it appears that the turn-signal (indicator?) lighting wires extend up through the rear u-channel and then up to the lights. There is no fuse so I assume the tow vehicle fuse is the only one. Each light is grounded at it's location to the skin or from the tow vehicle ground.( I guess?) RR

As you noted, the signal lights all ground to the skin or frame, so it is important for the tow vehical's ground wire to ground to the AS frame somewhere.
I still have not located the original location of the ground to the AS frame from the tow vehical's incoming ground wire, so I created a new one and now my lights all work perfectly. I added a fuse just in case.
