Proper seal on exterior marker lights 16' Bambi

Brand new 2014 Bambi and under close inspection I would swear that a couple of the side market lights are not compressing the foam gaskets enough to prevent water intrusion because of the gorgeous curves inherent in the fuselage. Any thoughts on how to remedy this? I wouldn't think I could apply sealant around the gasket and if that is appropriate, I wouldn't know which sealant to use??

Thanks to all!

In general the hole behind the light should be at the center where there is sufficient foam compression. If you believe there is a problem I would suggest cutting any protruding gasket material off, carefully, with a razor knife, then putting down a thin bead of Parbond along the top half and front exposure of the light. I would use masking tape to get a controlled bead. Done properly, it's fairly time consuming to perform.
