Thumbs up Problem with trailer light wiring Purchase a set of Wireless Tow Lights

Hello Everyone,

I own a 1991 25' Excella and just repaired the taillights wiring for the 5th time and you all probably know how frustrating that can be when you are on a trip. I recently found some wireless tow lights on the www.AirStream.com web site and thought I would pass the link along to you all. I purchased a set and they are really nice and handy. So if I have problems again on the road all I have to do it plug the transmitter into my trailer wiring plug and attach the lights on the rear of my trailer and I am off again. I think these should be a must for all airstreamers, even if you just carry a set with you, just in case...

Steve

Here is the link to the wireless tow lights if you would like to purchase a set..

They will work if you have the 4 pron female tap on your TV. If not you will have to wire that in before the will work.

What has gone wrong with the wiring that you had to repair it so many times?

Trailer wiring problems..

Hi Howie,

I had several problems from bad wiring to bad sockets. When I bought the trailer it was kinda beat up. I just got sick of working on it and purchased the wireless tow lights.

I am surprised I ust found these same wireless lights on the U-Haul and Sears web sites. Here are the link below... I'll be darned..

I just say your reply. For some reason I am not getting notifications of treads I have posted to.

Looks like a good idea if all else fails. However I would try a good rewireing at home one more time because I see those as a tempting item of a thief since the are just magnet mounted for both the lights and the transmitter.

Hello Everyone,

My brother recently went into a "Northern Tool" store in Minnetonka MN. and found that they are also selling these lights in there stores. For the heck of it I checked on line and found that Northern Tool is also selling these wireless tow lights on there web site too.
