I have a '59 Flying cloud that has a 125V 10A outlet on
the front end below the w
ater fill cap on the curb side. The outlet has a round shape with three blade slots within the circle and has a blue wire going to an inline fuse and a green wire going to the inside skin of the trailer and the outside mounting plate has a diamond shape. I want to know what this is for. Also where can I get replacement interior reading lights 120V. And a fresh water filler spout.
Thanks for the diagram this is exactly what I have. But from what I can tell is that there is only a 12 v ceiling light and maybe a12 v water pump. Everything else is 120 vac or gas. Thanks
There were usually two 12V circuits. One for the air compressor to pressurize the water tank, and the other which provided power for the furnace blower, roof vent fan, and lights in the ceiling, bedroom and gaucho area. Most of the lights were dual voltage, meaning separate 12V and 120V bulbs with separate switches, all in one fixture.
